Do you have something that you desire to have in your life? How badly do you want it? Are you willing to do whatever it takes to bring it to fruition?

See when we want something out of life there is a price that must be paid to receive it. There is no such thing as something for nothing. It isn’t always in the form of money. It consists of time, hard work, sacrifices, and adversity. Most of all it is the denial of immediate gratification that comes from settling for anything less than what you desire. No compromises.

It’s about persistence through the tough times. Taking one more step no matter what happens to you. Because you know deep in your heart that it will be worth it. You are absolutely certain of this. The unwavering faith that sees the end result even when plunged into the depths of darkness.

It’s about going all in. Burning the bridges of retreat, pressing forward with a courageous ferocity that will either succeed or perish. Sink or swim. It’s in this you’ll learn of talents that you never knew you had. Skills and abilities lying dormant within just waiting to be unleashed.

This thing that you want must become a magnificent obsession. Day and night. Every single breath and every second spent on working towards it’s achievement. Standing still and procrastinating is never an option. Just the very thought of it should drive you mad.

No surrender. Quitting isn’t in your vocabulary. Fears and doubts don’t control you anymore. They are instead used for fuel. Disappointment just means you are closer. Adversity means life is just testing you. Defeat is just a learning experience. Nothing can stop you towards the thing you want most.

Life will play a game with you. But you came to win no matter what the cost. You know that life will eventually bend to your will. Nothing can beat the will of a determined individual. You know that life will deliver the thing that you want only after you’ve gone through the test. The price has been paid. What a beautiful process it is.

So I ask you. How bad do you want it?

You know the feeling when you get that initial burst of motivation, the feeling that you can conquer the world and accomplish a thousand tasks. That initial burst may last for a few days or maybe even a couple of weeks if you are lucky, but it’ll eventually dissipate.

Then the dreaded brick wall of slowing down and possibly not wanting to do what you originally set out to do. That initial motivation has long worn off and you are searching for new inspiration to keep that fire alive inside. That fire to reach that goal and to continue the journey to the end result of achieving that dream you have fixated in your mind.

That is where the application of self-motivators is essential to keep that desire inside burning white hot. A self-motivator is something that you can call upon when things seem to be going wrong or you are struggling to keep yourself moving forward. It is your “why” behind the purpose of what you are trying to achieve. It is a battle cry that will keep you going through the toughest of days.

A self-motivator can be a variety of things. A picture of a loved one, a quote, a verse, an excerpt from a piece of literature, the only factor of it is that it must have a tremendous impact upon you. Something that resonates into the deepest chambers of your soul. Take some time to find your self-motivator. It is a simple task that can reward you immensely.

Find that self-motivator that will be your battle cry for you to achieve whatever you want in your life! Don’t stop till you find it!

Why I Write

The main reason why I write is because inside of me there is something inside of me that truly believes that I must express and share my ideas with others. To inspire others that they can live their dreams and live a happy life of their own vision. Writing is something I never truly enjoyed until my senior year of high school where I took a creative writing class. There is where I learned the true joys of writing. With no real syllabus and the ability to allow my imagination to run wild I discovered that writing was something that gave me a sense of fulfillment.

As the years went on I lost touch with this enjoyment for others dreams and ambitions that I was chasing for my life. When I was getting ready to quit my job and take the leap to start my own company I took a week off. During that week an idea hit me. I desired to write a book. I began to write a few paragraphs here and there but it was must on the shelf because of my new business.

Fast forward to now I was searching for my passion in life. I wasn’t satisfied with where I was and wanted to find something that would make me feel alive again. One night the universe decided to hand me a gift. It was a book that I found on amazon prime reading. Find your passion: 25 questions you must ask yourself by Henri Junttila. I was intrigued so I began immediately to read it. There was one question to ask yourself and the book recommended that you write out each of your answers. About halfway through the book I rediscovered my joy for writing. I made the decision that I would find a way to make it my life’s calling.

I dug out my old book notes that I had from years before and began to organize them into what I believe would be the best way to write the story. As I write this post I am currently in the process of continuing my work on that book and plan to publish it sometime next year. I have to say that I’m loving every minute that I work on it. It is such a release of positive energy and expression for something that I truly believe in my heart.

My personal reason for starting this blog was to share my ideas and insights that I’ve learned over the years. I love the genre of self-help and it has had a major impact upon the person that I am today. I was try to write from the deepest chambers of my heart and make sure to convey my message in the best way possible. I want to spark something within my readers to make them take action in the dreams they have within their minds. Dreams that cry for their realization. Life is just too short not to live your dreams and do something that you love to do.

I will admit that I am a bit rusty in my writing but I’m happy for that. It gives me room for growth and the ability to hone in on my writing style. As well as create a sharper focus for the message I want to deliver to my readers. The essence of life is growth and when we grow that is when we feel alive.

I would like to share with you a quote that I had written a few years ago when I was starting my first business. This was long before that dream had become a reality. The business was in its infancy and all I had was a dream. I didn’t have the knowledge or the resources in the beginning. But that didn’t matter. I had a dream and I believed in that dream with every fiber of my being. I knew that if I was alive that it was possible for me to achieve that dream.

Every single human on this earth is a miracle because they were given the gift of life. Now how we choose to live that life from the time we are born to the time we perish is completely up to us. Our time spent on this earth is limited. So why not chase those dreams that we have for our lives?

We all have dreams that we hold in our minds of what could be our lives. Our best version of our lives. Whether these dreams are big or small in their vision that doesn’t matter. What matters is do you believe that you can achieve those dreams that you want for your life? Our beliefs hold immense power in our daily lives. Belief is what gives our thoughts power. You are the only person that has control over your beliefs. The only limitation that your beliefs have is the limits you have set up within your own mind.

You must first believe that it is possible that you can have more out of life. This is not an easy task but those dreams that you have for your life are worth the price of believing in a bigger picture. Now I’m not saying that this can happen overnight and suddenly you’ll have your beliefs changed. Just take a small step and just imagine yourself living those dreams. Truly living those dreams. During this visualizing believe that you can live those dreams. Your limiting beliefs may try to intervene and tell you that it’s not possible. Don’t listen. Only allow positive thoughts and emotions during this. If you are having trouble with this then pretend that you can do it. I know that it sounds foolish but if you pretend to have the belief that its possible, your mind will eventually begin to believe in it.

I have one small favor to ask of you. Close your eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out. You’re alive aren’t you? That is a wonderful thing. You are full of life. You are a miracle on this earth. You have power inside of you that can’t be measured. Those dreams that you have aren’t just dreams within your mind. They are a gift to you of what is possible for your life. You must believe that those dreams are possible for your life. Belief is the first crucial step in their achievement. It is the precursor to taking action towards making the dream become a reality. You’re alive. You can still live the life of your dreams. First you just need to believe. I don’t know you but I believe that it’s possible for you to live your dreams. As long as you’re still breathing and your heart’s still beating you can live your best life. Just believe.

We as humans are creatures of habit. From the moment we are old enough for cognitive comprehension on the simplest level we begin the process of forming habits. At an early age the formation fo these habits are influenced by mostly our parents. A simple thing like brushing one’s teeth at first was something that we might not have done willingly or something that we thought was important. Over the course of time with a constant application day after day it became a daily habit over time. A task that we often do in an almost mechnanical nature. We put little thought into it because the habit became too heavy to break. Now it is part of our daily routines.

As we grow older we are given more choice in the habits that we practice on a daily basis. Whether they be constructive or destructive in their nature. Since we as humans have the gift of choice in our lives, it is our decision alone what habits we practice in our day to day lives. Some may decide to create constructive habits in their life such as eating healthy, exercising or meditating. For others they decide on the destructive habits such as smoking, drinking excessively or having a negative outlook on life. It all comes down to one thing, a DECISION to begin these habits.

Now at the beginning these habits were too light to be felt. The thing that we practiced conveyed with it a thought and/or a decision to begin. Backed with an emotion (whether positive or negative) this thing practiced daily for a period of time slowly develops into a habit. Eventually becoming too heavy to break. Even negative habits have this effect. It takes a massive amount of will power to break them. It is possible though because we have to CHOICE of shifting our habits if we desire to do so.

I want to tell you something. It’s possible to make a change in your habits. If you feel that you want more out of your life then you need to change your habits and the first place that you must begin is in your mind. Begin to make the habit of thinking of only positive thoughts. It’s not an easy task but I promise in the end it’s well worth the effort. Start small. Find 5 things per day that you’re grateful for or read something that you absolutely love. There are several ways of doing this. The only key is that make sure you are happy in the process because that will back that habit with emotion and will make it easier for you to implement into your daily routine. Life is beautiful and meant to be lived to the fullest of your potential. Develop the necessary habits that makes your heart sing and creates positive energy in your life. You don’t have to change your life overnight, just take the first small step and keep taking one step. Over time that will transform your life into something magical. One day at a time. I believe that you can do do it. You will develop those habits needed to live your best life possible. One thought is all it takes. Go take that small step and begin living the life you deserve.

Hi! Welcome to the Imagination Salvation blog! My name is Bill and I decided to start writing this blog because my passion in life is to help others find the greatness they possess inside of them. I wholeheartedly believe that every person deserves to live their best life possible. My hope is that this blog helps you in the journey of life. Potentially sparking something inside of you to make any changes necessary to your life to live it to the best.

For the first post I would like to share with you my motto about life. I wrote this about six years ago after probably the toughest time of my life. Tough times happen to everyone. It is an inevitable reality of life. These times don’t last unless we allow them to. It is all about the perspective we have on this thing called life. The easier thing to do is to become cynical about life and look at life from a negative viewpoint. The other thing we may do is to continue to believe that life is beautiful and look at life through positive eyes. I chose the positive way and wrote about everything that I truly believe about life. Here is the result.

Live everyday as if it were your last

Dream as if life was a never ending adventure

I am not going to explain what this motto means for myself. That’s not important. What’s important is what this motto may do for you. You may be going through some tough times yourself or my feel that you want more out of your life. Maybe you’re just looking for a bit of inspiration for your day. Whatever that reason may be I want to tell you something even though I don’t know you. You are beautiful. You are capable. You have what it takes inside of you to live your life to its fullest potential. You deserve it. You have the courage to begin to live a better life. All it takes is a single step. You can change your thoughts to a positive nature. Life is beautiful. I believe in you.
