Book Review: Find Your Passion: 25 Questions You must ask Yourself By Henri Junttila

I ran across this book late one night skimming through Amazon Prime books. At the time I was at a crossroads in my life and wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do with my life. The universe has a subtle way of delivering things to you when you are actively searching.

I decided to give the book a try and I’m grateful that I did. If it wasn’t for this book I wouldn’t have started this blog or rekindled the drive to actually write my book. About halfway through I realized how much I enjoyed writing and made me wonder why I ever stopped a few years ago.

Enough about what the book did for me in finding my passion. Let’s talk about the more important question. What can the book do for you?

Passion is something that we all want in our lives but often it is seldom found without first digging deep and finding out more about ourselves. That is just what this book does. Consider it more of a workbook than an actual literary piece. The author recommends that you write down each answer on paper.

The questions range in their variety. Some questions seem a bit repetitive but the reason behind it is for the reader to dig deeper to potentially uncover any hidden desires. These are thought provoking questions. Each chapter (or question) gives a brief explanation to how the reader should approach the question. At the end there are a few sub-questions for you to answer to help you get to the root of your answers.

This book is short, less than 100 pages in total. But by no means is this a book to be read in a couple hours. Unless of course you just read it for leisure. This book is more of a journey of finding that passion in your life and discovering more about yourself along the way.

As with anything worthwhile in life finding your passion doesn’t happen overnight. The author recommends that you take time to think about the questions and allow yourself to get the best answers possible. You’d only be cheating yourself by giving partial answers.

Overall if you are someone who is actively trying to find out what they are passionate about, this book is for you. Right now you can read it for free with Kindle Unlimited. Or buy it for $2.99 for the ebook version or $9.99 for paperback.

I give this book a 4.5/5 rating.

Do you have any suggestions for self-help books that I should read and review? I’d love to hear your feedback.
